As Berber became more prevalent around that time, sculpted carpet began to lose some of it's luster with flooring consumers. Of course Berber has now been replaced by Frieze carpet as the trendy choice. With that being said, some flooring shoppers still prefer the look of sculpted carpet but it is very, very hard to find! • Do you want a solid or flecked/mixed color? The flecked is great for hiding soils.


• Can you afford to buy a Nylon/Olefin blend or all Nylon product. These two types will far outperform a traditional Olefin yarn on wear, crushing, and stain resistance,


• Do you know a very experienced installer? A good installer is very important when it come to Berber Carpeting. Seam are critical. If a poor seam is made, then loops could become frayed later on.

Asian Walnut Hardwood come from Asia and is a relative newcomer to the American market. It is provides a very rich and smooth grain and is extremely unique and classy looking. It's hardness rates around 2400 on the Janka scale so it has a hardness similar to our Brazilian Cherry and is slightly harder than Tigerwood. The Asian Walnut tree does not grow very tall so typical boards run no longer than 4 feet which is another feature that gives this hardwood species a very comfortable look.
