Berber Carpeting - Still a Popular Flooring Choice

With the popularity of Berber carpeting in the 1980's, you would think the style has slowed down. Actually, it hasn't dropped off very much. The big loop look is still very appealing to many consumers and we literally sell Berber everyday at

If you're considering Berber Carpet, you will need to decide a few things.

  • Do you want a solid or flecked/mixed color? The flecked is great for hiding soils.

  • Can you afford to buy a Nylon/Olefin blend or all Nylon product. These two types will far outperform a traditional Olefin yarn on wear, crushing, and stain resistance,

  • Do you know a very experienced installer? A good installer is very important when it come to Berber Carpeting. Seam are critical. If a poor seam is made, then loops could become frayed later on., 1-800-232-5537, has been stocking and selling Berber Carpet from many years.
