Sculpted carpet was a very popular trend in the flooring industry throughout the 80's. As Berber became more prevalent around that time, sculpted carpet began to lose some of it's luster with flooring consumers. Of course Berber has now been replaced by Frieze carpet as the trendy choice. With that being said, some flooring shoppers still prefer the look of sculpted carpet but it is very, very hard to find!
