What's the Best Flooring for a Playroom or Bonus Room?

Trying to decide what's the best flooring choice for a playroom or bonus room? Well, the good news is you have lots of options. Of course you can put any type of flooring down that you want, but some options make better sense than others. You can go for low price, functional or playful.

For low price, consider cheap carpet tiles. By using assorted carpet tiles than have been discounted you can easily put down a floor that is cheap, durable, soft on the feet and even adds some color and fun to the room.

For functional flooring that can be fun you might want to consider vinyl. It cleans up easily with spills and some of the loose lay products out there now have a softer, padded feel which helps if you have little ones crawling or walking around on it. They can be hard to find, but there are a few cool patterns like puzzle pieces and towns with roads and buildings that can be fun in a playroom or bonus room. (If you need help finding these hard to find vinyl styles with puzzle pieces or towns with roads for cars, etc, give Lamar Dixon a call at Beckler's, 1-800-232-5537. He's pretty good at finding these tough ones).

Joy carpet also makes a carpet style that can be fun called tiny town. Tiny town is a patterned carpet with roads for cars, buildings etc. You can also get tiny town in easy to install 3x3 carpet tiles.
